Nuclear waste in Polynesia

Last century’s nuclear tests conducted all around the world presented an unexpected threat, which backfired only decades later. It is now up to the world’s nuclear powers to be held responsible for the aftermath caused by the presentation of their military strength. Will small nations in Oceania be able to make them pay for their past?

Michal Kisel

Greetings prospective delegates!

My name is Michal Kisel and it is a great pleasure for me to chair ZAMUN’s 2022 UNEP committee.  I’m very interested in geopolitics and diplomacy and I would like to be a career diplomat one day. I hope we’ll have a great time while tackling the issues of nuclear waste in Oceania. See you all in March!
